جذبت السعودية عددا من الكوادر التي خرجت منها لاحقا لتتبوأ مناصب مهمة في بلدانها، ولم يعد غريبا أن يصاحب خبر تعيين مسؤول عربي أو أجنبي معلومة عن عمله في السعودية،وآخرهم نائب رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية غسان حاصباني.
وهنا قائمة بأشهر المسؤولين الذين عملوا في فترة ما في حياتهم في المملكة:
وزراء لبنان الأسبق رفيق الحريري. عمل معلما للرياضيات في المدارس السعودية في عام 1965، ثم محاسبا في شركة هندسية، قبل أن يعمل في مجال المقاولات وينشئ شركة “سعودي أوجيه” في عام 1978.
ابنه سعد الدين رفيق الحريري، رئيس الوزراء اللبناني الحالي. عمل في منصب المدير التنفيذي لشركة “سعودي أوجيه” من عام 1994 وحتى 1998، قبل أن ينخرط في العمل السياسي بعد اغتيال والده في عام 2005.
فيجاي سامبالا، وزير العدالة الاجتماعية في الهند. سافر بعد حصوله على الشهادة الثانوية إلى السعودية ليعمل في مهنة السباكة.
عصام شرف، أول رئيس وزراء مصري بعد ثورة 25 يناير وعزل الرئيس الأسبق حسني مبارك. عمل في السعودية أستاذا مساعدا بكلية الهندسة بجامعة الملك سعود بين عامي 1991 و1996.
عدلي منصور، الرئيس المصري السابق أثناء الفترة الانتقالية بعد عزل الرئيس الأسبق محمد مرسي. عمل في المملكة مستشارا قانونيا لوزارة التجارة في حائل.
غسان حاصباني، اختير يوم أمس نائبا لرئيس الحكومة اللبنانية وكذلك وزيرا للصحة. عمل في المملكة رئيسا تنفيذيا للعمليات الدولية في مجموعة الاتصالات السعودية STC.
د.م.داساناياكي، وزير الأشغال السيريلانكي الأسبق، والذي تم اغتياله بانفجار في عام 2008. عمل في السعودية سائقا لعائلة في الرياض، لمدة 10 سنوات، في الوقت الذي عملت فيه زوجته في منزل كفيله.
عبدالله غل، الرئيس التركي السابق. عمل في البنك الإسلامي للتنمية بجدة من عام 1983 وحتى 1991.
أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر منذ عام 2010. عمل أستاذا بجامعة الإمام بالرياض.
غازي الياور، أول رئيس عراقي مؤقت بعد سقوط صدام حسين. تخرج في جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن، وعمل نائبا في شركة هيكاب التجارية المحدودة، العائدة ملكيتها لأحد أقاربه.
